What we collect
When you join the early-access list, we collect the email address you provide and, optionally, the name you enter on the demo sign-in page. We also store scan history and generated specification sheets locally in your browser while you use the demo so you can re-open previous scans.
How we use your information
We use your email address to send early-access updates, product announcements, and occasional newsletters related to SpecScan. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses local storage to keep you signed into the demo and remember your scan history. We may also use standard analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can clear your browser storage at any time to remove locally saved data.
Data sharing and subprocessors
SpecScan is built on Lovable Cloud, which provides hosting, authentication, and database infrastructure. We may use other service providers for email delivery and analytics. For a current list of subprocessors, or to ask a data-processing question, please contact us.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our updates. You can request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. Demo scan history stored in your browser can be removed by clearing your browser storage or deleting individual scans from the History page.
Security
We follow industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encrypted data in transit and access controls. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security. The demo stores data locally in your browser; please do not upload sensitive files or personal data you are not comfortable keeping on your device.
